This Policy explains how HelloWall collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when you use its mobile application, website, and related services.

Information collected

• Account and profile information, including name, email, optional phone number, profile details, authentication provider, and identifiers.
• Posts, memories, comments, reactions, follows, reports, saved items, media, audio, polls, gifts, messages, and associated metadata.
• Precise foreground location when permission is granted and nearby or place-based features are used, plus locations intentionally attached to content.
• Device, IP address, app version, diagnostics, security logs, usage, and analytics events.
• Contacts, camera, microphone, photo library, files, and notification tokens only when permission is granted or a related feature is used.
• Virtual-item, reward, balance, purchase, refund, and entitlement records. HelloWall does not receive full payment-card details from app-store purchases.

Uses

Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide social, messaging, media, location and virtual features, personalise settings, secure and moderate the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, analyse reliability, improve features, and comply with law.

Sharing

HelloWall does not sell personal information. Information may be visible to other users according to your choices and may be processed by hosting, database, storage, authentication, email, analytics, media, mapping, event-data, payment, app-store, and security providers. It may also be disclosed when legally required or during a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained while needed to provide the Service, secure it, handle disputes and transactions, or meet legal obligations. You can request deletion in the app under Settings > Delete account or through the account-deletion page.

Deletion removes or anonymises direct account identifiers, profile information, authentication credentials, social connections, blocks, and notifications. Public contributions or messages that must remain for conversation integrity, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, financial records, or law may be retained in anonymised form. Restricted backups may retain deleted or anonymised data until overwritten.

Legal bases and rights

Where UK or EEA law applies, processing relies on contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. Permission can be withdrawn in device settings.

Security and transfers

HelloWall uses reasonable safeguards including access controls, encryption in transit, password hashing, and security monitoring. Providers may process information internationally using safeguards required by applicable law.

Children

HelloWall is not directed to children under 13. A higher local minimum age or parental-permission requirement applies where required by law.
